The Race

Mandatory Team KitThis 4 day NON STOP expedition race will be the first of its kind for over 3 years in the UK.  It will take a linear route through Cumbria taking in the finest challenges that this mountainous environment can offer.

The teams will be racing over the popular bank holiday weekend at the end August - The race will start with a short prologue on the Thursday evening which will be available to all, so even your friends and family can have a go.  Warmed up from the prologue, the following morning the real Adventure begins.

With a distance of 400km for the full event it will be a big challenge to all the top teams, but one that should be achievable for ALL with shortcuts available (approx 200km) for the novice or slower teams we hope everyone will enjoy the drama and excitement to be found in the Lake District.

Good navigation is essential for the race, and you will be provided with detailed maps to follow. The race will include fell running, mountain biking, kayaking, orienteering and a few surprises taking you to those hidden gems. Attitude is everything, so be prepared for the unexpected
