Team Cruachan is a Scottish based adventure racing team. Team Cruachan believes in having lots of fun in the simply breath taking outdoor scenery both here in Scotland and around the world. Team Cruachan competes in both national and international adventure based races.

Based in Fife Scotland, Dan Gates is an experienced mountaineer, qualified mountain leader and triathlete. In 2008, along with Lizzie, fellow member of Team Cruachan, her team came second in The Hebridean Challenge, a five day race following the archipeligo of the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. Dan was fourth in the strathpuffer 24 hour mountain bike race and has completed in many XC endurance MTB racing and was second in the 2008 edinburgh rat race nine to fiver.

Nina Robb has recently joined Team Cruachan for the Addidas Terrex Race 2010. Nina lives in North Aryshire and works for a Scottish charity that runs outdoor progrmas for Young People. She has been racing since 2003, in teams of 4 or pairs and more recently soloing. Nina started racing at the ACE Races, including the Scottish 30 hour race in 2003, since then, she has participated in numerous events including many of the Open Adventure Races and No Fuss Events Mountain Bike Racing. Nina won the Female Solo Category at Relentless 2009. Recently  she has raced in Malaysia and New Zealand. This will be Nina's first expedition race; her training for this event includes stock piling lots of sleep and eating as much as she can prior to the event.
