We are a team of people that are friends of the Haglöfs brand, coming together to race mostly in the Open Adventure series. The team, although not top class athletes, has plenty of experience, and has stacked up some very reasonable results and a host of remarkable personal achievements. The aim of the team is to enjoy racing and to do the best we can, represent Haglöfs at outdoor events, and to use our experiences to provide feedback to the designers and fabric technologists. The team has been together for about 6 months now and we have spent a lot of time building up to this race.

The team has a good range of talent too. Alex is a strong long distance runner and veteran of the Tour du Mont Blanc, and 2 Bob Graham rounds, also a strong navigator. Karen has been all over the world taking on multi day adventure events and brings a lot of relevant experience and tactical knowledge to the team. Mick has been Adventure Racing for many years is generally good at everything, but especially team moral and motivation. Paul is a strong biker and good all rounder, good at keeping a level head when things get stressful. We think this makes a good team dynamic, and we certainly enjoy racing together.

We have been unfortunate with illnesses and some injuries in the last few races, so we are not totally sure of our potential. On the day I write this, we are at full health, fully prepared and truly looking forward to the adidas TERREX.
