CamRacers is an established adventure race team built around a core of runners, mountain bikers, triathletes, climbers and adventurers! The team has a good number of adventure race athletes to recruit from; varying in experience from seasoned international racers to first timers. For Terrex we're bringing together a group of fast and experienced racers.

First up we have Ben who has a background in triathlon, kayaking and mountain biking which has made him into a formidable AR weapon. Winner of numerous one and two day races he can usually be found racing in a mixed pair with Sabrina. Known for eating his way through races, he'll be playing the role of team captain and second navigator for this one.
 
Next up we have nav-man Jeff. With a background in orienteering and long distance walking from an early age he’ll be our lead navigator and master of tactics. This man could find checkpoints blindfolded... the way he guides us over the fells he must have a GPS implanted in his brain! Jeff has competed successfully in several mountain marathons and also as part of the CamRacers World Series Portugal expedition team amongst many other multi day international races.
 
Then comes the team’s secret weapon... Jason. A super strong runner who would give most top runners something to think about! He acts as 'team tow' and gear carrier when the others are suffering. He's also handy with a map and understands the tactical demands of multiday AR. He completed the Open Adventure Endurance Series in his first year of racing and went on to be part of the CamRacers World Series Portugal expedition team. This year he's already completed the open 12 & open 24 amongst many other one and two day races.
 
Last but not least we have the lovely Sabrina. She's competed in many multi day international races and is the winner of numerous one and two day races partnering Ben.  An absolute machine on foot, she might not be super fast but has endurance like no one else we know. She'll still be pushing on when the boys are well and truly broken. Sabs really is going to need to whip her boys into shape for this one. It's gonna be a tough ride!
 
All of us enjoy the thrill of adventure racing with the freedom and challenges it presents. We've all been committed to training and racing together as much as possible in the lead up to adidas TERREX will be reaping the rewards of knowing each other’s character when hungry, frustrated and sleep deprived!
