The adidas TERREX Coast to Coast 2011

Pull it together now

Hopefully by now you have managed to persuade your aunty to do your race support, have someone sorted to look after the dog and have three fit and eager team members ready to roll for the adidas TERREX Coast to Coast.  Don’t forget that the cost of entries goes up by 10% on the 1st June, so it’s time to pull it all together.... The swim - This part of the adventure race attracts the most queries, so just to put your minds at rest there is only one swim planned as part of the Coast to Coast on the first day. Other unplanned swims from kayaks we can’t comment on.  This swim is about 500m across one of the narrowest points on Derwent Water and should not create a problem for team members.   

Whichever team members decide to do the run from Buttermere over to Nichol End, will have to do the swim as there is no transition at this point, as there is limited parking.

PS - Date for your diary. next year we are planning the adidas TERREX swift. A 2 day non-stop event for teams of 4. It's an opportunity for those training for the Stirling event yet also an event to see if this multiday stuff is for you. It will be the last weekend in May 2012 and will be in the North West of England. More details soon (nothing on the website yet).
